Last summer I attended a training during which one of the presenters was doing an effective job of teaching us by sharing his past experience.
As he was sharing a particularly hard part of his past, he paused and stated: "Experience is an effective and brutal teacher."
When he said the word "brutal" it was as if he spat it out of his mouth in disgust.
The idea he was sharing isn't anything new. We have all looked to significant moments in our past for lessons.
In reality, so many of the most profound moments that impact the way we see ourselves and the world are small moments.
As I work with clients on unpacking their past and clearing issues, they frequently say to me "Wow, I didn't remember that happening at all!" or "That seems so minor…I never would have guessed that would be affecting me in such a big way today!"
Because the small, seemingly unimportant moments can impact us deeply, we need tools that help us to uncover those moments.
One of my favorite ways of doing this is by using a few adaptations of the concept of 'timelines' from NLP and hypnosis. Using timelines offers us the opportunity to find moments and memories that are still affecting us, especially the small ones that are easy to overlook.
Timelines are also really helpful in finding past issues that inform how we show up in the world today. Once we identify those moments we can use timeline tools and inner child work to create transformation.
In the May Art of Delivery Monthly class I will be teaching you three different versions of timelines that I created by combining my training and my experience, both with clients and in my personal healing work.
At the end of the class you will know:
- how to use timelines when tapping on your own or with clients
- how to uncover hidden memories that have created the beliefs you hold today
- how to use timelines to find the most appropriate age at which to do inner child work
- how to bring resources and healing to your past without having to relive a specific painful memory
- how to combine timelines with "fairytale physics" to heal multiple memories at once

As always, I will teach the Art of Delivery Monthly classes live on two different dates: Tuesday, May 17th at 7:30 PM Eastern time and Sunday, May 22nd at 12 noon Eastern time. You can attend either or both sessions AND you will receive recordings of both classes, regardless if you attend one, both, or neither,
live.
Not only will I be teaching you my approaches, but I will also do demonstrations so you can see the tool in action firsthand AND have the opportunity to try out the tool with others in a small group setting.
BONUS: You also will have access to my May Open Office Hours sessions on Zoom. Join me on Tuesday, May 24th at 5 PM Eastern time and/or Thursday, May 26th at 11 AM Eastern time when I will be answering all of your questions about the class or anything else related to tapping. We may also tap together during these sessions,
based on the needs of the group.
