Good morning,
One of the questions I love to ask new subscribers to this email list is "What is your most common struggle when it comes to tapping?"
The answer I usually get is either: "Remembering to tap daily" or "Remembering to tap when I need it."
There are two common reasons why this happens.
The first is because it takes time for us to create a new habit. Just wanting to do something doesn't mean it automatically becomes a habit.
The second reason is a lot more subtle.
It is because there is a part of you that doesn't want you to tap.
This is not because there is a part of you that wants you to suffer or that it thinks you need to stay in pain. Instead, it is because on a subconscious level it believes that you will be worse off if you tap.
I know that sounds counterintuitive, but it is true.
On this week's podcast I explain why we prevent ourselves from tapping, even when we want to, and how to get past that resistance to tap more often.
I have also included a tap-along to combat the resistance to tapping, and a printable tapping script.

I'd love to hear how this impacts your tapping practice,

PS: On Monday I shared with you four amazing podcast interviews that have gone online in the last number of the weeks. One of them was by Nancy Forrester. Unfortunately, in my haste to send the email, I made an error and misspelled her last name. I'm sorry if it caused any confusion when it came to finding that interview. It is a great interview on what to do when you don't know which words to use while tapping and you can find it here: http://tappingqanda.com/472
