As I have mentioned before, the single most common question I receive in my inbox about tapping is: "What are the best tapping phrases for [insert issue]?"

This question makes good sense because:

  • We say phrases most of the time that we're tapping
  • When we tap with someone else (or tap along with a video), it seems as if the person leading the tapping is effortlessly coming up with the perfect phrases
  • Finding the right words in the same effortless way when you are tapping on your own feels hard

All of a sudden tapping feels much more complicated than it was when you were tapping with someone else. You don't know where to begin and you don't know what to say.

I always appreciate the people who email me to ask questions. I would be willing to bet that many people get to the point of being confused about what to say and then give up and move on to something else.

In this week's podcast I talk to my friend and trainer Nancy Forrester about what to do when we sit down to tap and don't know what words to say.

The tools and approaches she shares are easy to remember and even easier to do.

If you have ever found yourself in a place where you didn't know to start, then you need to listen to this conversation.

You can listen to the whole conversation here: https://tappingqanda.com/472

I would love to hear your thoughts on Nancy's approach,

Gene
