Good morning,
The human body is a truly amazing creation.
We are an organism made up of thirty trillion cells. (That is 30,000,000,000,000!) Somehow all of these cells manage to function in unison without any conscious direction from us.
As time passes we are learning more and more about how all these different parts work together. When I was in grade school we were taught that the heart pumps the blood, the lungs process oxygen, and the stomach digests food.
Very basic, straightforward stuff.
We now know that there are complex connections between the heart, stomach, and brain. When it comes to how we respond to trauma, our stomach is at least as involved as our brain and the enteric nervous system responsible for regulating our gut is often called the body’s “second brain.”
All of this new knowledge means a greater understanding of how trauma impacts us and also how better to clear past trauma.
In this week's podcast Jen Cincurak and I talk about how all of our organs work together when we are experiencing trauma and how we can use this information to help clear trauma with tapping.
This is essential listening if:
- You want to be more effective when you are tapping
- You are in a situation where you are sharing tapping with others
This podcast is such a great complement to the ones I shared over the summer on why tapping works.
