Good morning,
Over this last weekend I watched a number of movies, caught up on The Great British Baking Show (Bake Off in the rest of the world), and watched a couple of soccer matches.
It was magnificent.
Not because of the quality of the content. Not because my life is any better because I watched those things. Not because it was an act of self-care.
It was magnificent because it is what I wanted to do and I did it.
The reason I bring this up is because those of us who are invested in personal growth have a tendency to "make sure we are striving to make the best and healthiest of choices all the time". We want our choices to serve our higher good. We want our choices to reflect the type of person that we are.
These are noble ideals (that I also aspire to), but at the same time we don't always have to make choices for those reasons.
I chose what I chose because I wanted to. There was no other reason or justification.
I am allowed to make the choices because I want to make those choices.
So are you!
This week I have a tap-along audio and tapping script that you can print out to help you be comfortable making the choices you want without having to justify them.
This might seem like an insignificant topic, but I assure you it is not. I tap with this idea all the time with my clients.
Seize this opportunity to liberate yourself from an internal pressure that you might not even realize is there.
The tapping will take less than five minutes. Do it now: http://tappingqanda.com/487
I would love to hear how it goes for you and the resistance it stirs up as you tap (I'm guessing you'll find more there than you expect).
Have a great day,
Gene
PS: Today is day 12 of the 30-Day Tapping Challenge and it is not too late for you to join us. It is absolutely free. There are already over 1000 people tapping along with us.
