In case you missed it, two weeks ago I announced that I was raffling off three one-on-one sessions with me as a way to support Kiva. Kiva is an organization that provides microloans to small business owners all over the world who don't have access to finance through traditional lending institutions.
I have been blown away by the support!
We have already been able to support 36 different business in Cambodia, Colombia, Congo, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Paraguay, Rwanda, Samoa, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tonga, Uganda, United States, and Vietnam.
The beautiful thing about Kiva is that these are loans rather than donations, which means that as the loans are being paid off, I will be able to lend the money out again, multiplying the impact.
What is even more amazing, I had two people enter the raffle and then send me a note saying "If I win the raffle please donate the session to someone who could use it but couldn't afford it."
