Good morning,
Most mornings I spend about 10 minutes tapping. This is the tapping I do to set up my day and to do ongoing work on whatever issues I am struggling with at the time.
About 60% of the time (at least as of late) the tapping I am doing is without words. I just move from tapping point to tapping point.
On Monday morning I had an interesting experience. I was tapping without words and I was feeling fine. A few thoughts popped in and out of my attention. I could feel my body relaxing a little and then at about the 8-minute mark, the floodgates opened.
For the next four or five minutes (I kept tapping past my timer) I was yawning non-stop, tears were flowing, and there was even a moment or two where I felt lightheaded.
I wasn't overcome with emotion or a surge of thoughts as I was doing this. When I reflected on the experience afterwards, I realized that at a basic level, my system was clearing and releasing the biochemistry of emotions that hadn't been fully processed.
I felt great afterwards. My morning was highly productive and I powered through my workout. (I don't mind working out, but I was READY! for it.)
I wanted to create a simpler experience for you and I hope that this week's podcast will do just that. While I was recording it later the same day, I yawned no less than 10 times in the four minutes of tapping.
As well as the tap-along audio, I have provided the tapping script, and an explanation as to how I created this tapping sequence for you.
This is the perfect tapping to create a sense of peace and calm, which feels exactly appropriate for this week.
You can find the tap-along audio, tapping script, and the sense of peace here: https://tappingqanda.com/493
I would love to know how you feel after tapping to this,
Gene
PS: Congratulations to Patti, Gina, and Greg who were the winners of the raffle I did for the free sessions earlier this month. Once again, thank you to everyone who entered. You raised almost $1000 (which I matched) to help small business owners all over the world. Thanks so much for being a part of those
efforts.
