Good morning,
One afternoon late last week I was sitting at my desk and I just started crying. (I also tapped while I was crying.)
My body was engulfed by those profound sobs of heartbreak.
My heart was breaking for so many people in my life.
I was crying for those who are afraid and alone, those who are angry, and those who are isolated. I was crying for people stuck in unjust systems, for the powerless, and for those who feel they have lost control.
Many people are experiencing an awful lot of pain...so I cried.
All of this is complicated by a world that feels ever more chaotic and unpredictable.
We are tired. We are overwhelmed. We are fraying at the edges.
Because that is the case, it is OK to cry.
After I gathered myself and had a big drink of water, I got out my microphone and I hit record as I did some more tapping.
If you are in a situation where you need permission to feel difficult emotions, if you need to hear from someone else who is there with you, then you might find this week's podcast useful.
You can listen and tap along with me here: http://tappingqanda.com/494
If it is not the type of tapping you are looking for, I understand. Next week I will send you the promised interview with Carol Look on stillness.
Know you are not alone,
Gene
