Good afternoon,
As you probably know, I start my day with some time dedicated to tapping. Usually I set a timer for ten minutes and just start tapping.
As I tap I am thinking about the day ahead as well as what is going on in my life.
I always have a pen and paper nearby so that I can take notes. About once a month I review all the issues I have been tapping on to see if there are any trends or areas needing extra attention.
Looking back over the last few months the issue that has surprised me the most is a sense of professional jealousy.
I find this particularly interesting for a couple of reasons. First, I have more good things going on in my business right now than at any other point in my tapping history. Second, most of the people that I have felt jealousy toward are not having as much success as I am right now.
The jealousy is connected to recognition online or about particular opportunities that I wished I were having.
Tapping regularly on these issues is super helpful (to say the least)!
For me, it is really important that I nip jealousy in the bud because it is such a corrosive emotion.
Jealousy means thinking negative things about those I am jealous of and also thinking negative thoughts about myself. When I'm caught in this state, it's almost impossible to take positive action.
This creates a cascading effect. I feel bad, so I don't take action. I notice others taking action and then I feel worse. I don't take action and I beat myself up for not taking action, so I feel even worse...and on it goes.
This week I have a tap-along audio and tapping script to help with all types of jealousy, not just the professional kind.
I would (in the strongest way possible) encourage you to do this tap-along, even if you don't think you have any jealousy floating around inside your emotional self.
Nip it in the bud before it becomes corrosive.
You can find the tap-along audio and script here: http://tappingqanda.com/500
I would love to hear how you feel after doing this tap-along.
Blessings,
Gene
