Good morning,
Back at the beginning of February I hit an emotional wall.
And the reality is, it is the fourth time that's happened in the last year.
Since the beginning of the pandemic we have all been under an unusual type of stress for a horrifically long time. As I have said before, it is like we are paying a 20% energy tax every morning when we wake up.
On any given day this can be hard, but over a long period of time it adds up into something gross. (And yes, that is the technical term for what it is.)
That's exactly what happened to me. Because of a combination of long, cold nights, feeling a little isolated, not exercising in the way that I would like, being less mindful of what I was eating, and because this has been going on for soooo long, it got to me.
After being in a funk for about a week I realized what was happening. It wasn't just an off day or an off couple of days. It accumulated until I felt overwhelmed and I had hit the wall.
In this week's podcast I share with you how I turned this situation around and provide a tap-along audio (with printable script) to help you through if you have hit a wall OR if you are coming dangerously close to that point.
You can listen, learn, and tap along here: http://tappingqanda.com/502
Even if you don't feel like you are approaching that state, I encourage you to take five minutes to tap along with me. It might not be at the front of your mind but I'm guessing that you are also being impacted by the continuing strange state of the world.
I hope this brightens your day,
Gene
