Good morning,
When you first signed up to my mailing list, you received access to the 10-part "Getting Out Of My Own Way" guide to eliminating self-sabotage with tapping.
Part one includes tap-along audios for both ends of your day.
This makes sense. By tapping first thing in the morning, we are setting ourselves up for a successful day ahead. Tapping at the end of the day helps us to deal with any unresolved emotions from the day and contributes to a better night's sleep.
I have added a third lot of daily tapping in my own tapping practice.
I have started tapping daily at lunchtime because even with the tapping I do to start the day, the best laid plans go awry and my morning doesn't always go the way I planned. Sometimes I get distracted by unproductive tasks or something goes wrong and I fall behind. Sometimes I just end up in an emotional funk.
Tapping in the middle of the day means I am giving myself a chance to reset, ground myself, clear my head, and set clear intentions for the rest of my day.
As valuable as this is, lunchtime is the hard time to remember to tap.
I don't know about you, but my life seems to be getting more complicated by the day, which means my days feel fuller and fuller. If I'm not careful I will work right through lunch OR only take 5 minutes to inhale some food.
Over the last few months I have been forcing myself to take a proper lunch break. Even if I am at my work space, I force myself to leave my desk. I take my time eating AND I take 5 minutes to tap and reset for the afternoon.
It has made a huge difference in my day and I am being more productive. More importantly, I feel better at the end of the day. I have more energy to enjoy my evening and I sleep better.
Do yourself a favor and for the next five days commit to tapping at lunchtime and see the difference it makes.
I have created a brief tap-along audio and tapping script, so all you have to do is make a little time around midday to do it.
You can find both here: https://tappingqanda.com/366
Let me know how your lunchtime tapping goes,
Gene
PS: If you have misplaced the link to the morning and evening tap-alongs, you can find both audios here: https://tappingqanda.com/part-1-get-out-of-your-way-by-reducing-stress/
