click display imagesGood morning,

Recently I was talking to my client "Debbie" who was sharing her experience of tapping on herself. Despite her persistence, she wasn't having a great deal of success.

This happens a lot when we tap on our own. Because we are so close to our issues, it's hard to see them clearly. That is why I work with a practitioner on my own issues, even though I am tapping practitioner myself.

But there is another common reason for our lack of success with tapping and it has to do with which part of our issue we are choosing to tap on.

This is exactly what Debbie's problem was: she was tapping on the wrong part of the issue. If you are an experienced tapper, you might be thinking that the issue is not being sufficiently specific.

That wasn't the case.

Not being specific enough when tapping will certainly hinder success, but Debbie's mistake is one that I find to be even more common.

Listen to this week's podcast to find out what mistake Debbie was making (and I suspect you are too) AND what you can do at the beginning of each tapping session to fix it.
