Good morning,
Right after college, I lived in a lovely three-story row house with three roommates.
Because it was a spacious, classic house, it was perfect for hosting parties. We had a kitchen, living room, and sitting room on the first floor, plus a decent backyard.
With every party (at least the ones I would host) there came a point when the party goers were still having a great time, but the host (aka me) wanted everyone to go home.
When it was time to clear the house, I had a very simple plan.
I would start circulating through the house and make a point of joining each conversation. I'd quickly turn the conversation into a conversation about loneliness.
Within 15 minutes the house was empty.
The reason? The topic!
When you talk about physical pain, everyone is willing to chime in. They will commiserate with you and share their own stories.
But when you talk about loneliness, people flee! It is almost as if we think of loneliness as a highly contagious disease.
Loneliness is embarrassing. Loneliness feels like weakness. Loneliness feels like a failing.
Because that is the case, we don't talk about it and we don't deal with it by tapping.
This week I have for you a reflection and a tap-along audio (with a pdf script) for dealing with loneliness.

It is OK to admit you are lonely. It's time to do something about it.
I hope this is helpful,
Gene
PS: A quick reminder that the November 30-day tapping challenge starts tomorrow! Every day I will provide you with a free tap-along video. If you would like to receive a daily email reminder with a link to the videos, all you need to do is >>> click here <<<.
