Good morning,
Recently I had a conversation with one of my clients who was grappling with a persistently stubborn issue in the shape of anger that he couldn't resolve.
He said to me, "No matter how many times I tap for this anger, it keeps coming back." I could hear the frustration in his voice.
He was frustrated that the results weren't lasting.
He was frustrated that tapping wasn't working.
AND he was frustrated with himself for allowing this to happen over and over again.
After some work together on unpicking the issue, we discovered that his anger wasn't the problem at all, rather a symptom of a deeper issue.
I told him, "The anger is kind of like a warning light on the dashboard of your car. The problem isn't the light, it's what the light is pointing to."
It can be tricky to tell if what you are feeling in the moment is the real issue or a symptom of something much larger or much deeper.
This week I have eight questions to ask when you are trying to figure out, either for yourself or someone you are tapping with, if what is coming up is a symptom or the root cause.
This is an important process because if you are only dealing with a symptom, then you will find it comes back repeatedly, without getting to the root cause responsible.

Let me know how the questions work for you,
