Good morning,

In my mid-twenties I remember having a late night conversation with my friend "Heather" over a few glasses of wine.

Like you do in the middle of the night, with a good friend, after some wine, you start to talk about big topics.

What is the meaning of life? How do we know if we are living well? Who do we think we are? Who do we want to become?

At some point the conversation turned to pain and living day to day.

Heather said, "I have friends who drink a lot to numb the pain. That doesn't work for me. When you are numb, you don't need something to numb the pain."

That statement has stuck with me for more than two decades. It may not be the deepest thought to be had in the middle of the night over a glass of wine, but there was some fundamental truth in it.

Over the last few months I have been working with more and more clients who are reporting similar thoughts.

They're asking "How do I tap for my emotions when I don't feel anything but numb?"

This week's podcast explores this idea and covers:

  • Some of the reasons for feeling numb
  • How to tap when you don't feel anything
  • How to use tapping to reconnect with your emotions without getting overwhelmed

Even if you are in touch with your emotions, this week's podcast will help you to understand your emotional experience more clearly and how to tap for a useful level of emotions.

I would love to hear how this works for you,
