Good Morning,
OK, so it's not really a skill, but a way of seeing myself...
As you may know, my first personal breakthrough with tapping came when it gave me a way to manage my extreme social anxiety.
My social anxiety was so bad that I couldn’t ask for help in a store or answer my phone when my friends called. Not only was it painful in the moment, but it held me back from doing so many things I loved.
In hindsight, even though I thought I was tapping for social anxiety, the core issue that I was really tapping for was for how I saw myself.
When I saw my value based on what I thought about myself, I could navigate my day with ease. When I saw my value based on what I believed others thought of me, my day felt like a minefield of disasters waiting in every painful human interaction.
The more I tapped, the more comfortable I became in my own skin and the more I found myself living a life I love.
Today, I use the term "comfortable in my own skin" when I talk about this idea. When I am comfortable in my own skin it is easy to handle even unexpected situations because I am not worried about how others will judge me. My sense of value comes from the inside out.
The feeling of being comfortable in my own skin is the greatest gift that tapping has given me.
This week I have a short audio to help you feel more comfortable in your own skin.
Listen here: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=10243
Even if you don't listen to the audio, I have included the tapping script for you to tap along to on your own.
Blessings,
Gene
PS: Some time in the next 10 days I will be sending an email inviting people to work with me one-on-one. As always, there is very limited space because I want to make sure my long-term clients receive the time and attention they deserve.
If you would like to beat the rush and have a conversation to see if we would be a good fit, simply fill out this brief 3-question application form. http://tappingqanda.com/?p=10246
