click display imageGood morning,

We live in an amazing time when it comes to our understanding of the human brain and how it works.

One the areas that fascinates me the most is memory. When I am working with clients we spend a great deal of time on how they remember certain moments from their past, the meaning of those stories, and how they impact their daily life.

You will notice I wrote "how they remember certain moments from their past" and not "what happened to them in the past".

Our memory is imperfect and the way we remember the past can change over time.

Because of this it can be difficult to trust our memories. When we are tapping new memories often come up and it’s natural to question whether those things really happened or if they are a trick of the mind.

This week I have for you a conversation with Sophia Cayer about false memories, repressed memories, and how we should approach them when we are tapping.

It is a fascinating topic and I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Blessings,

Gene
