Good morning,
One of the best books I have read this year is Teenagers Translated: How to Raise Happy Teens. It provides one of the best descriptions of what is going on at a biochemical level inside the brain of teenagers and why they behave the way they do.
It clearly illustrates how there is sometimes so much going on emotionally inside teenagers’ brains that they are unable to access its decision-making part, the frontal cortex.
Even though teens are most susceptible to this happening, it can (and does) happen to all of us.
In this week's podcast I address this situation and how we can use tapping to create the space to make better decisions.
I'm sure you have noticed the rather odd piece of artwork that goes along with this podcast. You will need to listen to see why have chosen that image! It represents a useful analogy to understanding what is going on in the brain and also how to use the tool I share.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the process and my analogy.
Have a great Thursday,
Gene
PS: Teenagers Translated: How to Raise Happy Teens is a great book. Anyone who has teenagers or works with them will find this very valuable. The link provided is an affiliate link, but I would share the link even if it were not.
Clearing Space For Better Action - Sometimes making a good choice in the moment is difficult because of the emotions raging inside us. In this audio we talk about what happens in the subconscious and what you can do to make less emotional choices in the moment.
