Good morning,

Here is an admission that might get me into a bit of trouble with some of you...

During my formative years I didn't have a lot of experience with pets, or at least not in the traditional sense.

For close to a decade we had a tortoise named Mr. T. As lovely as she was (yes, we later found out that Mr. T. was a she), she wasn't exactly cuddly.

Other than that there was the handful of creatures we would catch in the summer like horned toads, prairie dogs, frogs, and salamander, which we would keep for a few days before releasing back into the wild.

Because of this I never really got pets. Intellectually, I couldn't understand why you would take an animal that was made to live outside and make it so dependant that it couldn't survive on its own. My thought was, "animals should be animals."

This changed in my freshman year of college when I made friends with Gaby and her rabbit. There was a genuine connection between the two that I hadn't seen before.

I can't say that I am a full-on pet person, but I have a great appreciation for their place in our lives.

Well-loved pets become connected to their people in profound ways. They are perceptive to people's moods and in many cases they pick up these emotions and carry them.

This week I have a conversation with Susanne Peach about how our emotions can impact our animals and how we can tap for them.

Even though surrogate tapping (like the way we tap for our pets) is a powerful tool, it doesn't mean that it is a cure-all. I regularly receive questions about surrogate tapping and the best way to do it.

Here is a story of how I did surrogate tapping for something that looked like it was a total failure.

In the end you can see how it wasn't a failure AND there are some great lessons on how to approach surrogate tapping to be learned from the story.

I hope you have a great day (and if you get a chance, go pet a dog).

PS: If you have listened to the podcast any time in the last six months then you have heard me talk about Pain Relief Miracle (PRM). It is an all natural spray that was developed by Chinese medicine practitioner Jason Laird. It was originally designed for humans, but because it is all natural it is perfect for animals as well. My sister recently used it on her sweet dog Adison after minor surgery and it helped to heal her up quickly.

Jason has set up a special 33% off deal for Tapping Q & A. All details can be found here: http://tappingqanda.com/pain. I love the stuff and use it all the time!

EFT For The Emotions Animals Pick Up From Their People w/ Susanne Peach – Our animals become very connected to us. One of the most powerful connections comes in the form of them being aware of and impacted by our emotional state. In this conversation with Susanne Peach we discuss how you can help your animals out through tapping.
