Good morning,
A few weeks ago I was at the fabulous Spring Energy Event (SEE) in upstate New York run by my friend Jondi Whitis. SEE is one of those great events where you can just sit down with anyone during the meals and make new friends.
The first night I joined a table of people I didn't know. I introduced myself and one of the ladies said (jokingly), "Are you the Gene?" It is always fun to meet people who read my newsletters and listen to my podcasts in the wild.
As dinner continued she wondered if she could ask me a question. I said of course she could.
"I really love your website and all the material that you create. You seem like you have it all together. I know you can't possibly be perfect, so what are the types of issues that you tap on for yourself?"
I told her that she was in luck because the presentation I was giving at the conference was about that very topic.
In many of my past emails I have mentioned that I am always working towards becoming more comfortable in my own skin. The phrase "comfortable in my own skin" makes perfect sense to me, but I have a feeling it is not as obvious for everyone else.
At its core it is about measuring your self-worth by internal forces and not external forces. When I do not feel comfortable in my own skin I struggle with worry, second guessing myself, and perfectionism. But when I feel comfortable in my own skin I act with comfort, confidence, and ease.
This week I have for you my full presentation from the SEE, which includes one of my favorite tapping tools of all time.
If you want to know what makes me tick, what keeps me up at night, and how I tap, you should check it out.

I hope you have a great Thursday,
Gene
PS: Would you like me to speak at your event? Let me know by replying to this email.
Becoming Comfortable In Your Own Skin w/ EFT – Our genetic heritage is fear. Fear is a great tool for keeping us safe, but when it over functions it can be crippling. In this live presentation I explain the relationship between fear and self-esteem.
