Good morning,
As you know, most of my work with clients is about eliminating self-sabotage. The goal of the work is first to have a clear idea of the action that needs to be taken, and then to deal with any emotional resistance standing in the way of taking that action.
Before we can take action we need to know what we want. It is only when we know what we want that we can create the right series of steps to take.
Before we can know what we want, we need to know what we don't want. That might seem odd, but I have found it to be true.
When I sit down with many of my clients they don't know exactly what they want but they can give me a clear list of everything that is currently wrong. If we are able to name what we don't want then it is easy to name what we want instead.
This is week I have a great conversation with Carol Look about how we can use EFT to gain clarity. Our conversation covers not only getting clear about what we want, but also getting clear about trusting our desire.

It would be easy to underestimate this issue as something you have been struggling with, but I have found the biggest obstacle to success is clarity of purpose.
If you don't have a clear idea of what you want, your subconscious will prevent you from taking action because it doesn't want to waste time and energy heading in the wrong direction.
Simply getting clear will help you to be much more successful, regardless of the goal you are trying to achieve.

Have a great day,

Pod #224: Gaining Clarity with EFT w/ Carol Look – Without a clear understanding of what we want, taking action is hard. Our subconscious mind prevents us from taking action to keep us from wasting time by heading in the wrong direction. In this conversation with Carol Look we see how tapping makes it easy to gain clarity on what we want and on trusting our instinct.
