Good morning,
I probably spend more time than is useful following the news.
Yes, it is important to be informed about what is going on in the world, but with all that is happening in the US presidential election I am finding myself checking the major news sites three or four times a day.
That is just too much. There is very little useful information that has shown up in the last three hours.
I am not alone in the way that I constantly consume media. I just did a quick scroll through my Facebook feed and more than 40% of the posts are people sharing a new article of some sort.
Unfortunately I can't remember or find the original source, but earlier this week I heard a news report about a recent survey that found Americans were happy about the economy and their job status at the moment AND, at the same time, they were more worried about the future than they had been in a while.
I think part of this is because of the news diet we consume.
It is not that there is more tragedy in the world on the whole, but because we are so connected, we receive a steady dose of all the bad that is happening globally. And because we see the moving images of tragedy every day, it is much easier to be fearful for the future.
This week I have for you a tap-along audio to help you lift your mood day to day. When you lift your mood you are more connected to the power you have to make good choices. The better choices you make, the better your world and the rest of the world is.
This is a super short tap-along audio without any extra chat.
Please take a moment to tap along to it, because it will benefit all of us.

I hope you have a great day,
Gene
PS: On Tuesday I sent a link to an audio that I recorded after the Boston Marathon bombing. It is a more focused tap-along for dealing with the emotions after a specific tragedy. You can find that audio here: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=8990
EFT To Lift Your Mood – By recognizing what we are able to control and how much power that control has, we can lift our mood and also make better choices throughout the day. Better choices improve the quality of our lives and benefit everyone around us. Take a few minutes to tap along.
