Good morning,

Last weekend I headed out of the city to the Pocono Mountains to attend an event called MaxFunCon, which was even more fun than the name suggests!

Between the workshops there was a keynote speech given by NPR's Linda Holmes. She told the most amazing story about how she has changed the way that she dresses over the last few months. She went from an unvarying uniform of t-shirts and blue jeans to fun/quirky dresses.

It was story about coming to terms with the shape of her body and about being seen.

It was lovely and perfect!

One of the reasons that she had dressed in t-shirts and jeans in the past was so that she would go unnoticed. She said,

"Trying to be invisible is a tacit attempt at saying that I don't belong here."

Those are powerful words.

I have heard countless clients share similar sentiments.

They aren't comfortable with who they are and therefore don't want to be seen.

This week I have a tap-along for you on just this issue. It is not a tap-along aimed at forcing you out of your comfort zone or pushing you to try experiences that make you uncomfortable.

Instead it is all about being comfortable with who and where you are. The choices you make after that are up to you.

I have both an audio to tap along to and a script that you can print out.

You can find them both here: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=11943

Take a few moments to tap along to this. I know it will improve your day!

Have a great Thursday,

Gene
