Good morning,

If you have following my work for any length of time you will know how much I love goal setting. (So much so that I have created a 10-part system that helps you to create and tap for your goals.)

One of the most important steps in goal setting is knowing what you want. Most of the time we think this is a process of making a list of our desires but the problem is that sometimes we don't actually know what we want.

We might know what we don't like about our life, but naming what we’d like in its place can be hard.

One of the easiest ways to start the change process by creating a clear set of goals is to understand what you value. Without a clear sense of your values, creating a goals list can turn into "I hope life gets better list" and no idea if your goals will provide happiness.

This week I have a conversation with JB Glossinger all about values, how we come up with them, and how to build the life you want from your values.

This might not seem like it has much to do with tapping, but I think there is an important connection.

I have found going through the exercise of naming our values a powerful way of uncovering any resistance to change. Once we have named where we are resistant, we can tap to clear it, which will lead to transformative action.

After the interview I share how I implement JB's ideas into my own tapping.

I know you will find the process helpful.
