Good morning,

For my international readers, today we are celebrating Thanksgiving in the United States. Today is the busiest travel day of the year. In many ways, it is the most important holiday in the US calendar because it is celebrated by people of all races, creeds, and religions.

It's a time when I see even the most cynical people I know stopping to reflect on what they are most thankful for in their lives.

For me, gratitude is the most powerful emotion. Gratitude opens us up. It removes fear and helps us to see possibilities. It makes it safer for us to love.

When talking about gratitude I mean heartfelt gratitude, not something we are simply paying lip service to. And I'm not talking about an unrealistic, Pollyannish sense of faking that we think the world is perfect.

True gratitude allows us to see the world as it is AND be thankful for what is good, often in spite of what is difficult.

For the holiday I have a tap-along audio and tapping script that you can print out to help you connect with a sense of gratitude.

Listen, read, and tap here: http://tappingqanda.com/?p=12071

I hope your day is filled with thanks and gratitude,

Gene

PS: On this day of reflection I am overwhelmed by the way that you have let me and my work into your life. The fact that you read these emails, read the articles, and listen to the audios is amazing. In looking at the podcast stats I can see that they have been listened to by people in more than 160 countries. Knowing that something that I write (often at 5am) and record in my small home office is useful to my subscribers means the world to me.

The greatest investment that you can make in my work is your time AND I am soooooo thankful that you came along for this journey.

Happy Thanksgiving!
