Good morning,

Monday was one of those days where I was waging a battle with technology and the technology spent most of the day winning.

For the last few months I have been trying out a new to-do list software that integrates with my inbox. It will be a great business solution.

The bad news is that the product is in beta, so the developers are still working out the bugs.

On Monday the software stopped working altogether. This meant that I was unable to see my to-do list.

I felt lost.

I work hard to make sure that I have a well-constructed to-do list so that I don't have to think about which tasks I should be doing throughout the day. After my
to-do list is done I usually don't remember most of the tasks I need to do because I know they are written down. All I need to do is look at my list to see what is next.

For about 90 minutes it felt as if I had lost my brain.

I didn't know what to do next and just moved halfheartedly from task to task, without achieving anything.

At a certain point I caught myself and realized that I needed to focus. AND I knew that the easiest way to do that was to tap.

I opened my podcast recording software, hit record, and started to tap.

I know you will find this tapping helpful. There is an audio tap-along and also a script that you can print out.

Even if you don't feel like you have lost your brain, this is the perfect way to focus and get more done.

Have a great day,

Gene
