Good morning,
I am still sorting through the 400+ responses I received to the Tapping Q & A Podcast survey from a few weeks ago. (Once again, THANK YOU!)
As I was looking through the list of ideas, this note caught my eye:
"My issues have to do with the dissonance between idea and reality. For example, recently I wanted to lose weight. I was very successful but when I got to my goal I was still not happy. Why is that? Also, I pick faults with the self-improvement programs I am doing even though they are working for me. What's up there?"
I find both of those situations fascinating.
On a subconscious level we are naturally suspicious of any type of change (even change for the good) because, for the subconscious, change is unpredictable and therefore potentially dangerous. The subconscious will ALWAYS try to avoid anything that seems dangerous.
That explains why we sometimes hold ourselves back from taking action, or take action in a halfhearted way, and are then dissatisfied with any progress we do make. These feelings will slow down or even halt your progress.
This week I have for you a tap-along audio and printable tapping script that speak directly to this problem.
By tapping for this issue you will take more action and feel better while doing it.

I hope you have a great day,
Gene
