Good morning,
One of the things I love about doing podcast interviews is the fact that they don't always go as planned.
I know that sounds odd, but the reason this is so good is because when it doesn't go as planned, it means that I am learning something new. It means we have moved away from my prepared notes to a topic that is much more interesting.
That is exactly what happened with this week's podcast. I had originally planned to do an interview with my friend Melissa Lester Olson about how those who work in healing professions often struggle with their relationship to money.
We did have that conversation, but then Melissa said something that I had never thought about before. It was a statement about how all of us relate to money and it struck me dumb. As in, I was literally speechless (which is not something that happens often!), and then stammered for a few moments trying to come up with the next questions.
The nice thing about recording a podcast interview is being able to edit out most of my incoherence. Once I had regained my composure, the conversation developed in a direction that everyone will find useful when it comes to dealing with money.
This is a must-listen conversation!

It will be very obvious what quote I am talking about when you hear the interview and I’d really love to hear your thoughts on Melissa's idea.
Let me know what you think,
Gene
