Good morning,
Over the last month I have traveled to places that are nothing like my neighborhood here in Brooklyn, NY.
In the middle of December I spent a week in Kyoto, Japan and for much of the last week I was on a cattle ranch in The Middle of Nowhere, Wyoming. (The photos on the right are from the two places respectively, and I am sure you can figure out which is which.)
Even though Kyoto and the Big Horn Mountain Range couldn't be more different, the thing they have in common is a powerful stillness.
Kyoto is filled with Buddhist and Shinto temples, many over 1000 years old. Every time I stepped into one, the city of 1.4 million people faded away into the quiet and the smell of incense.
One morning in Wyoming I stepped outside to take a picture of the sunrise and the only sound was a coyote howling way off in the distance.
In both places I could feel my soul come to rest in a way that doesn't happen here in the city.
I'm not looking to leave city life any time soon, but I do love being in touch with that stillness.
Whenever I am looking to recapture that stillness I sit quietly, drink a glass of cold water, and then I tap.
Tapping for stillness is different from tapping on other issues. Instead of trying to tap to remove discomfort, we are tapping to gain calm, and it can be difficult to know how to approach it.
So this week I have for you a tap-along audio and printable tapping script in which I show you how I tap for peace, calm and tranquility in this hectic world.

Let me know how this helps you in finding your way to peace and calm,
Blessings,
Gene
