Over the weekend I did one of my favorite tasks.

I cleaned my apartment while listening to podcasts. First of all, I always feel better when my space is clean. It just feels more like home. Second, I love podcasts (I am sure that is no surprise).

One of the podcasts I listened to featured the actor and comedian Dan Van Kirk. Dan’s story was about how he moved from a small town in Illinois to pursue his career in LA. As he was telling the story I was impressed with some of the less-than-obvious choices he made along the way that got him closer to his goal.

For all of us, it is much easier to take action when we can see a clear path to our goal. But when that path isn't clear we often do nothing because we are consciously (or subconsciously) worried that we are wasting time and effort on the wrong action.

And so we do nothing!

Which is the fastest way to NOT get what we want.

On this week’s podcast I teach a simple tapping process to help you to take the next logical action – even if it doesn't feel like it is the right action to achieve your goal.

When we take a number of actions like this, a clear path slowly shows up in front of us, bringing us closer and closer to our goal.

I hope you have a productive Thursday!
