Very early on in my training as a practitioner, one of the most informative workshops I attended was on pain management, led by Dan Cleary. Dan helped us to understand that from the point of view of our body, pain is nothing more than information. The information that there is something wrong.

It is hard to think of pain as “information” when we are experiencing it. It is just pain. AND IT SUCKS!

But if we are able to take a step back and see it as information, then we are in a position to understand what our system is trying to tell us.

Sharp pain isn't the only way that our physical body communicates. It can also feel achy, stiff, tired, or sluggish.

These are all signals sent by the body to tell us that something is wrong or our body needs something.

This week I have a conversation with Cell and Molecular Biology Ph.D. Deborah Miller. In this conversation we talk about how our bodies communicate with us, how to understand the information, and how we can tap with this information to increase our health and wellbeing.

The concepts and tools we talk about are easy to understand and simple to use, so you can feel better right away.
