I can still remember an epic argument my sister had with our mother back when she was about 16 years old.

In the middle of the argument my mother said, "You are just saying that to push my buttons!" to which my sister yelled, "How can I miss them? They are THIS BIG!!" and proceeded to hold her hands about two feet apart.

For whatever reason certain situations and certain people just push our buttons and we overreact - even when we fully realize that our response is unreasonable!

This week I have a simple process for you to use whenever someone or something is pushing your buttons.

I hope you have a great day,

Gene
